The Mirage Revolution 13 may have less available deck space and primary stability than the Outback, but the Revo 13 is much better suited to covering distance with more efficiency. The narrower width hull-shape provides less drag, and greater efficiency when moving from A to B. Great for users that want to cover more miles on a day out, or reach a destination quicker, whether this is lake touring, or reaching a coastal fishing mark. The Hobie Revolution 13 has many great Hobie patented features fitted as standard, such as the Mirage Drive and Vantage Seat System. The Revo 13 can also easily be modified to customise the kayak, personalising the boat for the individual with the addition of accessories such as the Sail Kit or Evolve Motor. For keen anglers a wide range of fish finders, rod mounts and fishing accessories are available, and simple to fit onto the hull.

As with most of the Hobie kayak range, the Revolution 13 can be pedalled, paddled, or sailed. The revolutionary Mirage Drive 180 system allows for full power pedal drive in forwards and can easily be switched to reverse when required. The MirageDrive system features Hobie’s ‘Glide Technology’, for a smooth and virtually silent pedalling action. The Mirage Drive 180 on the Hobie Rev 13 is supplied with Kick Up Fins as standard. These fins offer a neat solution worry-to any underwater, unnoticed obstructions that the kayak may pass over, they simply fold up out of the way to help reduce the risk of damage.
