A versatile tandem sit-on-top kayak, the Hobie Compass Duo allows for one or two people to take to the water for a shared paddling (or pedalling!) experience. The hull-shape on the Compass Duo has been well considered to provide lots of stability, and a nice compromise between forward speed and manoeuvrability, meaning that this is a true general purpose, all-round craft. Perfect for adventures on inland waterways, such as lakes, slow-moving rivers and reservoirs, the Duo is equally at home on sheltered coastal estuaries, bays, and beaches.

As with all Hobie Mirage Kayaks, the Compass Duo has high-end features and outfitting. The 2x Vantage Seats have plenty of adjustability for a comfortable ride and are raised off the deck of the kayak to keep the users further away from the water, and any pooling water that can form. The Mirage Drive systems have ‘kick-up’ fin technology, and one of the Drives has a reverse-toggle, so it can be switched at a pull, allowing the Compass Duo can be peddled backwards when needed. This reverse option is great for tight manoeuvring, but the Compass is also easily steered using the in-built rudder system. For those that want to fish form their Compass, there are plenty of angling features onboard, included flush-mounted rod-holders and is fish-finder ready in case the owners want to upgrade it to a dedicated fishing kayak.
